Boat House - our creole style bungalow is found right on the beautiful coral sandy beach of Blue Bay on the south east coast of the island. Blue Bay is known for its splendid turquoise Lagoon, calm waters and the Underwater Marine Park.
Our bungalow, which was originally a real boat house, has recently been renovated and modified into a cozy, but superb beachfront hideaway; surrounded by a lush tropical garden which is full of colourful hibiscus, bougainvillea and Frangipani flowers.

It is air-conditioned, has a fully equipped kitchen, a king-size double bed, a separate private bathroom and a little, excellent sea view veranda (with dining table & chairs).
A Kayak & Paddle Boat belong to the property and can be used for exploring the lagoon.

Our maid can be organized for room cleaning + laundry and also prepare breakfast (both for a minimal additional charge).
The nearest restaurants / pizzeria are in Blue Bay (5 min) and can be reached easily by foot. There are also nice, small restaurants in Mahébourg and the surrounding area, which are about 5 km away. Public transport to Mahébourg and Pointe d´Esny (bus and taxi or walking on the beach) are available right at the Blue Bay bus-stop the whole day between 7.30 and 18.00.
Please note: due to the vicinity to the airport, there is noise of starting aircrafts. But this is a small island airport and in general, there are less than 10 airplanes leaving a day! No traffic at all in general between 23:30-06:00. All of our guests liked this place really much!

Swimming with the fish!
You can safely swim the whole day in calm and warm waters right in front of the Bungalow, or, just one minute away, snorkel around the corner to the Marine Park and discover colourful fish and corals. A Kayak for trips through our magnificient blue bay is also on-site.
